When we read the story of Uzzah in the scriptures we are often puzzled by how God dealt with him, surely God was unjust to punish Uzzah in this manner, to strike him dead as he tried to prevent the ark of God or the testimony of God from falling in the dirt…

I have often heard people in prayer telling God that they are just a worm, I always wondered why they said it, it is supposed to be a sign of humility to tell God you are a worm, even Jesus said he was a worm in Ps 22:6Ps 22:6

Jesus was Barabbas Substitute…

In the new testament you can see a simple example of the idea of substitution. Barabbas was guilty of several crimes, including murder and insurrection. The Roman government had already condemned him to death by crucifixion. But Barrabas never saw his cross! Because Jesus took his place on the cross.
