All believers have authority, it is a God given right to walk in the power that Jesus Christ purchased for us and commissioned us with during the Great Commission... Sometimes people say things like 'Oh yeah, that authority doctrine, it has been around for the last 20 years' well in fact authority is the very first doctrine in the Word of God...

Right back in the Garden of Eden when God created Adam and Eve he spoke over them and said... Gen. 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God told them to subdue the earth, that is an authority word and he also told them to have dominion which is another authority word... It has always been the will of God for man to have and to walk in authority, that understanding has largely been lost to the church and to the body of Christ at large...
